oh no.... I have very refined taste buds now...

refined sugar... as in chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate, dark chocolate... brownies, chocolate cake especially with icing (more sugar)

I like sweets still, but I'm more aware that they are unhealthy, so I'm not as eager to eat them as I used to be. Same with soft drinks. It feels better to just eat fruit instead.

In a similar way, I'm finding that my taste for junk food is getting less too. It's nice here and there, but I'd much prefer a hearty, protein-filled meal, like a stew. It just feels more filling and less unhealthy.

I'm with SkaFish....sugar is a menacing, addictive hazard to health. Avoid refined sugar and any processed foods with added sugar. If you have a sugar craving, satisfy it with fruits.....they have fiber that should moderate the spike in blood glucose level. Consume some healthy fats like olive oil along with the fruit....again to avoid the blood glucose surge. Let's not ooze our way into a downward spiral to diabetes.

You know what im sooo scared of diabetes its unreal! I dont wanna lose my toes 🥺🙈

Yes, me too. Diabetes is an epidemic; it's caused by diet and lifestyle; it changes one's life completely and for the worse and it's avoidable. Through proper diet I dropped my fasting blood glucose level from 114 to 102 in one year.......Listen to your fear, eat a healthy diet and exercise yourself to a sensible level of fitness.
In my hospital volunteer duty I've seen many, many diabetic patients.....some of them are truly a horror story.

I love sweets. But, I gave them all up years ago. I can't eat any sweets otherwise I will binge on them with my addictive personality. Sometimes I purposely walk down the candy isles in the stores and my mouth waters like crazy. I still can remember how yummy it all is. However, I WILL NOT BUY OR EAT any of that stuff any more because it's all poison.

If you are loosing your sweet tooth be very thankful. Your gut produces more Serotonin then your brain. So, eat to make your gut happy and you may be able to sleep better. The gut - brain connection is very real too.

Never really had a sweet tooth as a kid. Would choose an orange over a candy bar, a saltine over a cookie.
Unfortunately I seem to be developing one as I age.

Ugh guys wtf!! I am getting olddd now I have a toothache well gum ache because…. My wisdom tooth is coming omg omg 🥺 help? I need Callies Dentist with the laser at this point, did you guys take your wisdom teeth out? My mum said doing that ruins perfect teeth…

Getting your wisdom teeth out doesn't ruin perfect teeth! Tell your mom she's full of crap. :ROFLMAO: 😁

Some people don't even get wisdom teeth. I only have mine on the bottom and they've never emerged, so never had a need to get them removed. The ones on the top are completely missing - I don't have them.
