Learning from a mistake I made

I learned from a mistake I made when I was 22 years old drove home drunk,do not do it.I was young and dumb.Went to a party drinking 5 beers and a friend offered me a place to stay for the night.Said no,big mistake.5 miles later,stopped by a cop.I did everything the cop said to do and the cop said I smelled of alcohol from my breathe.Told him I had 5 beers.Did the tests failing one taken to jail for DUI.Dad bailed me out and saw I made a mistake.Good thing was the judge was good to me,seen I did listen to the cop and sentenced to 30 days in jail.Wanted me to do more giving me a break.I got out doing 20 days for good behavior.Said I should of never done it and have not done it to to this day
