I made it last year and I think it fits the mood of this place as somewhere you can go to cheerfully mope.

(Cos I think that death and bereavement are funny you know. Well, they are if they're done with any flair anyway, oh yes.
And besides, the benefit of other people dying instead of you is that it's something you won't regret afterwards. All perfectly balanced stuff.)

I don't think I'm any real thinker, but I do flatter myself that I can come up with some nice gags. I don't see why I should be miserable in my art (and I say 'art' in the loosest possible meaning). Much better to use a touch of pathos as a nice counterweight to the fun rather than as the dish on its own. I don't think I did it here though, just comedy death here.

You must be thinking of the Samsun or the Rode because they have the USB preamps. The mike there is the SE2200A, and as far as I know there is only the normal XLR variety requiring its operating current from the mixing desk.
