Had a little visitor today My daughter pet sits sometimes and she brings them around for a visit.

Enjoyed an afternoon chamber music performance......and then a berry milkshake.

Tonight I made two 5 oz. filet mignons with onions, habaneros and worcestshire.
And a raw cabbage salad with half an avocado, plum tomato and cucumber.
It was good.

Making the most of a week camping. I don’t usually camp in the warm months and there’s a lot of people here, it’s hot, mosquitoes are bad at night allegedly, but I have my netting, sunscreen, book and I’m right on the river with plenty of shade, so hopefully I’ll be a nice week. I have my bike and fishing rod with me as well. I also have my two friends camping close by for a bit of company. I’ve had a bad week leading up to this trip so hopefully it’ll be an elixir of sorts.

Yeah, peace and quiet is a nice thing in today's bustling cities. There's a lot to be said for solitude.
