I moved into a new flat but my parents say they miss me and want me to come back. No. I’m my own person and do my own thing. Like my sister and bro live alone so can I. I think they want me to stay at home to take a burden. Err. Why? Oh yes. Cuz their happiness comes at the expense of another and they reckon they have a right to an easy and sheltered life. Yes that’s healthy.

I hope you treasure the moments you have with them anyway… they arent around forever… the first thing I regretted was moving out when I lost my dad, but I see now its because I was afraid to take my place in the circle of life.

That's awesome that you have your own place. It's your life. Live it your way.

I have a similar situation, but if I had to live with my parents my mom would be happy at least. She likes parenting, and she would love to have me or my sisters around to parent. She is always planning her visits months in advance. Though, here is a story I heard from a co-worker years ago. He said his brother retired at age 40. How did his brother accomplish this? Well the brother lived with the parents until he was 40. The brother had a job and instead of spending his money the brother saved every penny. Then once his nest egg was complete the brother moved out and retired from the world. So that is something to think about. Of course if your parents are going to charge you stranger prices for rent and stuff you should not waste your time.

another thing to do would be to figure out why they want you to stay. I have a friend, who flunked out of college and had to move home. He had to get a job and because he helped with the bills the family did not lose their house. Granted once things stabalized with him and his family he was allowed to stop paying into the house.

So maybe think about stuff like that. I am not sure if the parents are truly toxic but if you can work out some better deal than living alone and can find the patience to tolerate them. Well it could be good for your perspective financial future. Then again, when it comes to romantic relationships nothing will annoy or turn someone off more than going back to your parents house. So there are things to consider.

lol. how dare you give me any praise.
i guess your spiritual guru taught you to associate with anybody no matter what you do. that's fine. go and kill somebody's kids and then assume you should engage with them.

but then you've got your shit together, but then post about random nonsense.
sorry, but you should let your kids go. i guess your pastor always taught you you're always right.
and like your buddy ardour, you hold the apparent monopoly on being imperfect and not uber-wise.
and all siblings should share in parents. if you disagree, then maybe you perhaps lack the heart you espouse. or you're a sibling who thinks you have a lesser right to care for yoru collective folks....ok. kind of baseless, but that's fine.

i know you're a spiritualist who thinks he's above the human level, but all human relationships are equal. both parties have duties and responsibilities. do you have children? if so, then once they're of age, and if they're of sound mind and body, you let them live. you don't seem like a very good person. especially since you have Hitler/sociopathic worldviews, and you project your spirtualism onto the masses.

coz people like you like to single me out to plot and keep me down.
for all others my age it's "awww!!" but you're evil and fuck with me. tbh it's funny since you have this attitude of you being so superior - i wonder with whom you associate since it must be some region or country that has many people who think they hold little value. and you and that ardour fellow follow me around to say i must post "mature". i post as i please, and only the mods can tell me what is acceptable or not.

Hey... You can't give yourself Hitler's... That's cheating.
