I'm looking for new myspace friends. If you want to be my friend, post in this thread, and I will pm you, or pm me. :)

^^^^Sanal, you have a pm. :)

I guess no one else has a myspace. Or maybe no one else wants to be my friend on there. :(

^^^^I was busy crying at 2:30. :( I'm happier today, but I still think men suck.

I added you lonelydragon.

I'll perk up this week guys. Probably by tomorrow.

I had a Myspace page for awhile. I spent weeks fixing it up. Had photos, some of my art, my music and all sorts of things there.

No one gave a flying fu*k so I took it down. Thank you Internet for providing me with hours and hours of fun-filled indifference.

:(

fun filled indifference, yes that is the perfect way to describe the internet

That sounds very familiar..oh, that's because the same thing happened to me. I totally pimped up my profile, even going so far as to make my own graphics for it, and adding everyone from my school on it. Alas, I only got a couple of messages on it, mostly spam from hacked accounts about shopping vouchers or Viagra. Such is life I suppose. MySpace does not seem to be the best place to make friends, or even to just enhance existing friendships. I'm also not a fan of the whole 'Top Friends' aspect of it. How can one rank their friends? It all seems so shallow to me.

^^^^I agree. Myspace has ruined many friendships and relationships. A girl was killed over facebook last month. My ex (he's number 4 on my friends list for those who are my friends on there), we broke up (the first time) when he decided to take a "car model" on a "friendly" date to the auto show. I was so angry! LOL, but it's funny now.

^^^^You are funny. I'm sure some people cared, but never told you so.

They cared enough to try and sell me viagra and porn. I suppose that's something.

I would have cared. But now it's too late and you'll just have to take my word for it. :p

The empty profile is still there if you'd like to see it. The blank spaces speak volumes.

I've grown accustomed to it. I'm not sure if that's fortunate, sad or both.

The handful of live people I did meet was nice for a few fleeting seconds, but even then I had this overwhelming sensation that I was being "collected"...like a baseball card or a bus token. No one talks much to bus tokens.

No disrespect to anyone that enjoys the thing. Uh...go Myspace! :/
