Nikon d5600. It's something cheap to learn on. The autofocus isn't great.

I took this on Saturday, April 15. I drove two hours to get to a pristine dark sky and it was absolutely freezing. The image took four hours to take. It is of a trio of gorgeous galaxies, the one on the right is going through a cataclysm. When I was a star wars obsessed kid, I imagined it had exploded as the result of a devastating galaxy wide war in which one side nuked the whole galaxy with a doomsday device.

Imagine how cool it would be to see such things with the naked eye in our night sky.
