Purpose
Why do we seek it?
Why do we bombard our minds with questions,
questions that can drive men insane
to be locked up in mental asylums
only to come out with a broken spirit
And all the while people laugh at us
and say “Look! There must be something wrong with that man!”
With me?!
There must be something wrong with me, because I long for reason!
Because I want to know why I am here!
Because I ask why we feel pain and die!
WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!!!
And you!
You are the cowards!
Who flee from the questions
But I
I have risen from the ashes
And I emerge stronger than ever before!
I was never broken!
Until you locked me up
and said “Our son has gone mad!”
All because I realized who I am
I am a god
And so are you
But you don’t see it like I do
But I thank you for playing your part
You put me to the test
A test that I have aced
How can you be enlightened….
…if you’ve never been in the dark?
