As do I my friend hopefully this elusive topic will cese to be so elusive after I go to my sleep specialist and they have options for me to remedy this situation. Because its a issue that I have struggled with for as long as I can remember.

A lot of people simply aren't going to understand, usually because they've never been in your shoes to know what it's like. Then again some don't want to understand, or even try to. So I wouldn't expect people to fully understand, especially anyone that's never been in your position before. It's like with me I've pretty much stopped trying to explain what I go through because some just won't get it, and some just won't care anyway.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say people think it's a joke, I try to stay out of people's business so I have no idea what's going on with that, but if you feel people are seeing it that way then ignore them. You're just going to add unnecessary stress if you sit there and worry about what everyone else thinks.

She has a VW camper, proper hippy chick, which is great for anything we need moving. I have a Mini which she borrows all the bloody time, it's grand for London roads. Most of our City's roads were designed for a horse and carriage so you need something small else you'll get stuck down a lot of roads.

Ooohhhh. Yeah, that makes sense. New Orleans is like that as well. People do have cars there, but most of the time you can get around on foot faster due to the traffic congestion. Where I live isn't quite that bad, but due to the population spike over the last 15 years, it's starting to become kind of a problem. There's a primary childrens school on the opposite side of my neighborhood that is actually going to get remodeled to help accommodate the influx. It's been there since 1967, but now the traffic gets so backed up that it causes congestion on the roads just to get to the school during the morning hours. So, they're going to demolish it and rebuild it to be more efficient for traffic as well as to be able to house more children. Both me and my father went to that school when we were kids, actually. I'd like to go through there and take some photos before they demolish it, just for childhood memory's sake. They did the same thing to my secondary school years ago and I never got to take photos of it before and now it's totally different, like I'd need a map level of different.
 
That makes sense, we don't do sensible in the UK, some of our country lanes are little more than a path made 1000's of years ago by people walking.
