Boris had it...now Trumps got corona. What's going to happen in America now with the presidential race?

Zoom debate? lol

Who knows. He'll either be asymptomatic and things will carry on as "normal," maybe even him relaxing about the virus or he'll get it bad and he'll be more strict about what Americans can do. Or the third option that would probably send the country into chaos.

No way. It's simple. The White House will try to hide Trump's symptoms. If needed, they prop him up and blast prior statements from a loud speaker. He just keeps saying the same things anyway. So, it shouldn't get noticed. If his wife dies then they'll play the sympathy card for more votes. That should work. If Trump dies then Alec Baldwin will replace him. It might seem odd at first but the White House will say the minor differences are due to the Virus. And for some reason the virus cured his habit of saying and tweeting really dumb things. People are so Fing stupid and believe whatever they hear so things will continue to move forward with the Republicans driving the ship with a drunk captain. If the republicans can't control Alec and the democrats win the election then say goodbye to all of your savings because the US currency will take a massive permanent hit. #TrillionsDownTheToilet #Socialism #NoMoreMiddleClass <- Only used for effect. It's not like a bunch of people are going to read this anyway. Ha! Ha!

I was thinking the same thing.

If he gets really sick from it or worse, his hardcore fanbase - the conspiracy theorists and alt-right gang members - are going to say that it was done on purpose, and just go crazy.

If he gets only a mild case or is asymptomatic, Trump is going to say that the virus is no big deal - it's only going to further reinforce his lax, disbelief-in-science attitude towards it.  As well as his attitude of "well, I got through it, so it must not be a big deal."

I think it's going to be bad either way.

This is the impression I got after watching a summary of the debates (didn't watch the actual full version of the debate).  Trump just looked really incompetent, out of his depth intellectually - like he didn't know what he was talking about, and he didn't care either, because he only wanted to seem competent enough to keep the job that he only wants for the perks and the fancy title and for his ego.  He didn't seem to have any real answers for anything. All he did was repeat his buzzwords and yell, and use deflection and redirection tactics.  It's like...the same thing I say about some kinds of people - all they do is say their special words loudly, do their little routine, play their character, and everyone is like "YAY THIS GUY IS GREAT!  YEAH!" and I'm like...how?!?!

It all made me think, this guy should not be trusted to be in charge of anything, much less a country, where there isn't much margin for error and if you screw up, real people get really hurt or really killed.  He doesn't seem to have the intelligence or the temperament.  He should just stick to reality TV, something where he can just act silly and say things, play his character, and it doesn't actually put anyone in harm's way.  Leave the serious jobs to the people that are qualified, and actually want to be serious, actually understand what's going on.

Maybe he still thinks he's performing reality TV. That's where he really shined. He doesn't realize it's real life. Hmmm.

Jesus how come the voting lasted forever.Whats gonna happen now,Trump start campaigning again with so much support? What about Biden will he unite people. Why he not so keen on us Bits?He walks a bit like a Thunderbird puppet,a bit unsteady on his feet ,what if he doesn't go full term, who takes over Kamala..what's gonna happen if that occurs?

The only good thing about Biden winning is that I don't think there will be riots, which I believe would have happened if Trump won. We shall see though, and even if there are no riots, that doesn't instill confidence, given that these people are now running the country.

Biden will probably be declared unfit for office and yes, Kamala will take over. After her is Nancy Pelosi. I don't think we are in for a good next four years and I bet we will also be back to war.

The good thing that has happened is that the Senate is still Republican controlled. The Supreme Court and many of the appellate courts are leaning far to the right now. That'll keep the crazies on the far left in check. The house is still controlled by democrats but they lost some seats and a little weaker. Pelosi is finally going to get the boot to make way for a new house speaker. She served her purpose of unleashing her craziness and steadfastness and is now only a liability to the democrats. Biden will bask in the glory of being president even after his crooked dealings. He'll day dream about fluffy clouds, marching bands, ice cream, and how he set up his family via his political power. All while the aggressive democrats try to work through him. Harris will be getting prepped and protected to become the next president. I wouldn't be surprised if Biden's drinks get democratically spiked to make is sooner then later. The best thing for the USA is to keep the branches of government nearly equally divided so nothing gets accomplished until a true, honorable, and honest American can step forward and become the president that this country needs. All the rest of the top politicians are to busy making fortunes, under the table, on their just above average salaries. The won't run because they want to keep their lives and financial dealings in the dark.

One thing you need to remember is the election isn't technically over. Biden is likely the winner, but that's the media declaring him the winner. There are recounts already underway and I'm sure there will be lawsuits for many other recounts.

Yeah bet you wish you had a Monarchy now.Nothing gets started without the Queens approval.I saw it announced by a Wolf on CNN I don't get it .Who officially announces the new President..is it Trump when he concedes.Anyway what's he gonna do now apart from play golf for two months and start all these legal battles. Why wait two months to inaugurate your next president is it in the constitution.

I'm going to play devil's advocate here and say that I think (politically at least) that everything is going to be fine. I think Biden will be healthy, and I wouldn't jump the gun on a Kamala presidency. Basically I think it's going to go back to "business as usual", which wasn't great, but was better than the last 4 years.

Well, too be honest, people only vote to let their state's electorates know who they want for the President and Vice President. It's a system ripe for corruption. Citizen's votes are actually meaningless. All that matters is how the electorates actually vote. Many states have laws that require their electorates to vote as suggested by the state's voters. But, that continues to be contested. So, all Trump has to do is "purchase" the needed electorate's votes, while ignoring their states wishes, and he'll remain the president. It's easy this year because the popular votes are so close. So, it can be justified either way. Sure it'll get contested to the Supreme Court. But, didn't the Supreme Court get stacked in favor of the Republican party???? Exactly! The presidency will not be decided until the Electoral College votes and it gets finalized which is January 6, 2021. Trump needs to hurry though. Time is money and buying Electoral Votes has to be very expensive. I'm sure the Democrats will be making counter offers and threats too. All the other court non-sense is just for misdirection while the real tricks are taking place.

Now with trump out of office, the tension will be even worse now. Good luck Biden, even though you don’t know what you walked yourself into.

Thank you trump for 4 good years! Haters will hate Regardless.

Keep drinking the Kool-Aid.

When people say that, is it a reference to Marshall Applewhite, James Jones or Ken Kesey?

Ken Kesey would make the most sense, the way it is used, but ya never know and that is why the vodka..

I'm just saying, as someone who has gotten caught up in conspiracy theories and catastrophizing in the past, I've found that it doesn't help anything. For me, not only did it not save me from anything, but instead it derailed my life and ruined a lot of time when I could have been a lot happier, had I not gotten into those things. If I hadn't gotten into conspiracy theories and hadn't assumed that the absolute worst possible scenarios were going to happen, I would have been much better off.

I feel like all these times people have been worried that they're going to take the guns away, or turn America into a communist country, or any of the other stuff they say, they've either always been wrong, or the thing that actually did happen was minor compared to what they were worrying about.

"Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it gets you nowhere."

The world is changing pretty rapidly, as the RCEP suggests, so Biden may have many surprises ahead of him.

Putin didn't seem excited at his win, for one. I don't think he's yet congratulated him. Xi Jinping delayed sending his congratulations, but eventually did.

I'll refrain from any Trump comments, except to say that he seems to have alienated a lot of the world and some countries will likely be slow to trust the US again.

But Biden isn't perfect, either. I guess we'll see.
