You should try a batting cage or golf range. You can release a lot of anger and the pop sound when contact is made is very satisfying. Also, you aren't hurting a tree just for the hell of it.
I don't know if ever I have had to go instantly but within the hour it has been a couple months I guess. I did discover another restaurant I can no longer dine.
