Do you prefer to read with the tv on or off?I prefer to read with the tv off in silence.

Doesn't matter one bit. I can read with or without background noise. Funny thing is though, as a writer, I usually need music in order to write. I don't like silence when I'm writing, it's distracting.

I don't know anymore. I used to get criticized for reading with the TV on. I was told you couldn't do both. I guess I just wasn't aware of that.
With everyone gone, I don't concern myself with it too much anymore.

Lol, I call bullshit. I've been doing it for years and years. I can even carry on a conversation while I'm reading. It's called multitasking and I'm an expert at that.

For reading, I find silence is better. If I'm doing chores however, I like some background noise.
