A Dream State

The sun feels warm this winter's morn'
But it's two degrees below
To my delight, the sun is bright
As I trudge through frozen snow.

I squeeze my way inside the train
Oblivious to the crowd
Already late--it's half-past eight
A voice announced the time aloud.

In my office, leaning back
In my familiar chair
Ideas I lack--my thoughts drift back
To last night's love affair.

I love it! It kind of reminds me of Robert Frost, except your poem tells a really good story.

LOVE IT.
