I had a good day today. My work team took me out to lunch. There is another team at work that likes me for some reason and they bought me a cake and sang Happy Birthday as well.

One year back in New York about 18 years ago a close friend surprised me on my birthday by stopping by my home with a homemade cake and some friends. I was living alone at the time - what she probably thought was a small gesture is something I remember to this day.

So thank you again for the birthday wishes, I really appreciate it
