4th of July, 2012 - 236 years of independence. Fireworks going on everywhere, meanwhile, I'm watching HBO's John Adams mini-series. It's a great series to watch, I'd recommend everyone take a look at it.

I don't think there's a whole lot of people on the forum that're very patriotic, brah.

Hell, I couldn't count the patriotic people I know on one finger - IRL or online.

Just so happens 4th of July has become a day for flame grilled food and boom pow crack explosions all hours of the night. Comes and goes like any other day - only with more noise than usual.

But good on you for the gesture.

Today is Fireworks day, don't you know?

Oh wait...people actually did someding on dis day, that was different from dipping in the pool, grilling out, and shooting off bright lights that explode noisily in the sky? Who'da thunk it?!?!?!
