These are from the top of my head, there are many more suggestions such as various artists in the reggae genre and others, i love Bob Marley, Ken Boothe etc..

But a Big Thank you to all these artists, as you keep me going, I hope my track suggestions help many people on this site to get through life like they've helped me.

What tracks keep you going? Any mentions are much welcomed.

I try not to listen to sad music too much. It kind of feeds on itself.

I have list of my favorits...
Its mostly about relationship
issues. Im snaping out it.
Its not good for me to dwell
on sad stuff..

I cant allow myself to fall into
a depression or meloncholy Itll suck the life force out of me.

I listen to relaxing music by
Joe striani or Tnanerlene dreams
sometimes...its mollow and soothing.
No words to trigger negative memories or emotions.
to my spiriit.

But seriously, looking at this thread, I get the feeling that people actually like being in their sad comfort zones. Changes take up energy, so it is more comfortable to not waste energy and just be as you have always been, living in your head hoping that things will change eventually.

I think people get use to actually becoming sad and it grows on them because of things that have made them that way. But its hard for some to snap out of that, and the change is tough as it could lead to more seriousness consequences if they struggle (suicide and maybe depression at its worst) when trying to do it by yourself, some people react and cope differently.

For some its hard to go on day by day, and i really wish them the best, and hope they work through their days. For me film and music (my crutches) helps me work through days, and on top of that im trying to get better slowly but surely.

Thanks for the link though, good mention.

I think in terms of music people like the common ground that they find with some tracks, it makes them feel just a bit better knowing that someone else out there feels the same way they do.

I love relaxing music, for me that comes in the form of Jazz, with the soothing sounds of Coltrane.

Thanks for the comment and great mentions.

I totally agree. I think sadness and loneliness is the only thing some people have ever known and any other thing that requires them to make an effort or step outside of their comfort zone is far too foreign for them.
