The Truth Of Words

[Haven]

Words, they dance
So serene and so graceful
They can be as cruel as a storm
Even as benevolent as an angel
With the elegance of the waltz
And the energy of tango

But words can hurt you
They’re as sharp as a sword
As destructive as a missile
They’re as long as a spear
Or as small as a pistol

Words also can save you
They are the breath in your lungs
The thoughts in your mind
The evilest truths
They are the kindest of lies
