Thinking of changing my legal name...

My family harps on things such legal name changes and plastic surgery since they believe in "energies" associated with what you are given (name, looks etc).
I got my legal name changed this May, but I'm still the same old, lonely grouch.
The only difference is that it feels good to not have this gut-sinking feeling every time right before I have to say or give my name to someone.

I have the exact opposite problem. My real name is one of the most common names in the country and I always felt kind of anonymous. I hated the nick name my parents gave me and I don't let people call me that anymore.
