Republican candidate Rick Santorum harshly criticized porn, and promised to crackdown on it if he becomes President of the United States; calling it a "pandemic of harm" and saying that it "contributes to misogyny and violence against women".

Personally, I don't see females as inferior due to porn. Porn is just an outlet for male's and female's natural fantasies. What do you guys think?

I dont think he knows much about the internet...
or males in general...

or he is ready to imprison all males...

I dunno... i guess it can happen... not.

To be honest I have trouble seeing the point in anything like this. What's the point of abolishing Porn or keeping Weed illegal when we live in a world with Religion? Religion causes the most conflicts, causes the most deaths, causes the most suffering and destroys the chance of their ever being Worldwide peace. Religion will never be abolished because that's impossible so what's the point of abolishing things that bring joy to many which are as significant as a drop of water in the Ocean compared to Religion?

Who's fighting this so called war? Wealthy politicians and fundamentalist conservative lobbyists. It's just a fight of one big and powerful industry against another. We can already tell what indecisive and futile outcome this would bring. Not to mention the asinine waste of government funds.

If the government really wants to save moral standards in the U.S., they will stop slashing billions of dollars out of educational funding nation wide.

If you are running for office it is helpful to come up with a cause(s) that is easy for your followers to get behind and that will help get you get your face in the media a little more frequently.

Everyone watches porn.

And I've learned that it's usually the most outspoken people that are doing it behind everyone's back! The person who is against sex outside of a marriage is the person going to prostitutes. By that standard, Santorum is probably jacking off to porn with one hand, and has his hand on the bible with the other. Just a filthy hypocrite.

Probably molested some kids!

Um...

I really dont know what everyone's opinion on this is... but it seems to be going in that direction...

should the president be (openly) religious?
I mean... in this day and age?.... maybe this should go in debates... lol

I actually somewhat support this. Not the misogyny/sex trafficking part, but the bit about how exposure can affect the brains of children. I think it could be a good (but almost impossible) idea to make it a little harder for kids to access porn. The way it is now, it's everywhere. You don't even have to be looking for porn to find it anymore.

It doesn't have to always be about religion doods.

I found my dads secret stash when I was 6.

I turned out alright. LOL
