I'm crying right now and I do not want to work the 12 hours weekend shifts tomorrow and Sunday... will I be able to hold my tears in.

November 18 was the end date. There is a window for "corrections" from December 7 - 11, but I don't know if they will allow enrollment.

I'm so stupid. I miss the "open enrollment" period to sign up for my companies insurance benefits. I may not have health insurance next year. Next week I will contact corporate HR (since the local HR lady isn't very helpful); however, I'm afraid there is nothing they can do? So much for getting...

A few weeks ago I injured my lower back during my full-time job shift. It wasn't a serious injury, but just a strain; the thing is lower back strains can be surprisingly severe. I had trouble walking; sitting down was painful and I actually needed help standing up because the pain was so sharp...
