Hard to say. I guess personality matters more than looks so it should hurt more if that's why I'm rejected. But I'm a lot more secure about my personality, so I'd just put it down to bad chemistry, if he rejected me because of my looks then I'd be devastated.

Sounds like you did have a 'normal' high school experience. I think the problem is so many of the people who don't fit into the norm, don't talk to each other, and don't realise there are quite a few of them! I was in the outcast group in high school, we didn't really have much in common other...

Welcome :) I totally agree with you, don't know how people manage to make friends considering all the work uni gives us!

So currently the only person I speak to on a frequent basis is my mum, and I guess that's been the situation for about 1 1/2 years. I always thought of this as just a stage in my life, and that one day I'll have friends, a boyfriend and be happy. But every now and again my mum makes comments...

I think sometimes when you have people around you it can make you feel even more lonely, knowing that they're there but you can't seem to talk to them.

Hi so yeah I guess since I'm here you know I'm lonely, don't know why really, I do try to make friends it just never really seems to work out. when i'm at uni there are at least people around me, but now im on the long break i feel like i'm slowly going insane haha.
