    Happy childhood?

So I'v been AWOL for a while but thanks for all the replies. Seems the majority have had a rough time at some point... either childhood or teenage years. Agree with this ^^ always seem to remember the terrible things

    Happy childhood?

Thank for the replies, It's been proven that childhood plays a big part in a persons entire life. It would be good to see some statistics on it... like how many people with shitty childhoods come out perfectly fine and vice versa. I know alot of people who have terrible childhoods and do ok...

    Happy childhood?

It seems to me that alot of adults with social problems have had a rough childhood or been subjected to something unpleasant as a child. So, what was your childhood like?

Life With No Possibility Of Parole, Or The Death Penalty. Which Would You Choose?

Im willing to bet there is only so many hours you can spend reading, only so many good books you can get your hands on and only so many hours you can spend off in la-la land. As much as i think i would love to be able to lay around and read forever, if that is all there was to do for the rest of...

Why would a girl give someone like me a chance?

Im going to be honest here so don't take offence but it sounds like you're just making excuses. Everyone has things they dont like and that they insecure about and think other people will dislike them for... this is just another one. If you want to find a good and meaningful relationship you...

Life With No Possibility Of Parole, Or The Death Penalty. Which Would You Choose?

I'd rather be executed. I know people that have done long stints in prison (8 years for dealing/manufacturing drugs) and it sounds horrendous. The most horrible part believe it or not is the boredom. Too much time to think, little else to occupy your mind, let your imagination get away from you...

    Acceptance of death

Its a really interesting thing because just about everything in life has some amount of scientific evidence behind it. Even with all the faith in the world, when you're on your death bed I'd imagine you would be scared as hell because no-one can tell you what to expect. As you say, its...

    Acceptance of death

I'm sure they would. I guess its easy to accept death when you have no reason to believe its imminent. knowing its coming would be different. I dont believe there is a 'heaven' as such. But I do believe what will be will be, fearing it serves no purpose and wont change it.

    Hello from down under

It is nice up here, good place to live. Im good, cold to the bone... could do with some proper heating. Why someone would build a house with no fire place or at least gas connections for gas heating, is beyond me. Anyway, I do do things other than whinge and complain. The question should be...

    Acceptance of death

The idea of my own death doesn't scare me at all. All things life can throw at you are much scarier for me. I think you may be right though, extreme fear of death would undoubtedly stop one from fully enjoying their life. A little fear keeps people from doing stupid things (in most cases) but...
