Just a quick update... I was contacted 9 weeks ago by a lovely lady via a dating site. It turns out that we live only 2 minutes from each other and have a host of other things in common. It seemed too good to be true but things have just grown so much, we are totally smitten with each other...

I don't get the opportunity very often, and when I do the nerves kick in and I end up making a bellend of myself. No wonder I never see them again. 3 dates in 3 years... how depressing.

I am doing what I did last year - drinking heavily, playing my favourite Beach Boys albums and sitting in front of a computer on my own. Oh well. Maybe one day it'll get better

It was crap. I got 2 cards, 1 gift, no phone calls, no visitors. I cooked myself lunch and went back to bed at 4pm. Totally depressing. Christmas should be banned

Same here marigold - it was so depressing Christmas Day that I went back to bed at 4 pm :(
