I love the internet, I think it might be beacuse, I like feeling connected,

it's a way to interact with people with out a lot of the social akwardness or worrying about aperances.

But also I currently have like nothing else to do. No new videogames, and my old ones don't interest me much. running out of books to read, it's cold i don't want to go outside. I don't want to do my homework. we only have 10 tv channels. ect.

I am always checking my e mail and facebook, though there's never anyhting new.

I like this place and i like to post stuff, I really like sending and receiving messages from you guys

i also like fuse.tv

and i love reading random stuff on wikipedia, i can be there for hours there's just so much interesting stuff there.

I also love just looking at pictures and pieces of art at random sites, i love deviant art and photobucket, i guess i really kinda like to collect pictures, dragons fuzzy kittens witty icons, all that stuff.
I also watch a lot of tv shows and anime online , of course i like youtube

I only spend a max of about 4 hours daily on the computer, but if i go 2 or 3 days off the computer, i feel it, just itching to be online, gar.

I mean it's a nice place.

I love the isolation in the room, it's just a nice to record thoughts learn about other people random stuff while listening to music. I just think it's really nice.

well it's getting late I should really get off, I'll do my homework tommorow before class.

peace out all ya hommies

( I'm also very very white)

:)

You sound so much better at the internet then me. I mean I watch things from time to time. But a majority of the time only thing i get from internet is porn and web comics. Normally I cant find things I like on youtube but I have watched two seasons. As for anime heres a free anime site! anime6.org

I don't like the internets, I use them because I have to. ;.;

The internet is great for certain things, but sometimes I feel like it takes away a lot of the feeling of living, maybe it's just me, but I love the internets it entertains me and having been without the internets for a week now, I'm glad I'm back to being connected:D

Hey evanescencefan91 if your bored and like reading interesting things online try this site, it has some dare I say, **** interesting, funny pun,not really.but anyways I'm rambling, here's that site:http://www.damninteresting.com/

Modern computers and the Internet really can provide you with pretty much anything.

You can connect with people you would otherwise never have known of, you can watch video, make video, read, write, compose, play, buy things, sell things, download, upload and reload.

It stands to reason that since you can do more then people use it more.

I've spent an average of 8 hours a day on the internet, for the past six years. That's 17,520 hours of internet time - a total of 730 complete days.

I know how you feel. ;)

P.S. - I also have an obsession with reading hundreds of random Wikipedia articles. At the moment, I have over 40 Wikipedia articles in my Firefox browser that I intend to read. I've so far probably read almost a thousand.

As for Youtube, I've apparently watched 1,369 videos while logged in. God knows how many videos I've watched while not logged in.

And, even though I've only got a "few" posts in this forum, I've made 7,479 posts on another forum.

Blech. My eyes hurt.

hehe

ya wikipedia is great and that damninteresting place is pretty cool too

do you think that reading stuff on the computer hurts eyes more than reading a book because the computer guves off light, so after a while it must be like staring at a lightbulb

:D

I'm pretty sure reading text on a computer screen is more damaging than reading text off paper. I know this by my own experiences. :) :(

yea, im addicted to the internet also. i spend about 4-8 hrs a day on it. i check my email often. go on some forums im on. check craigslist often for deals and what not. i like wikipedia also, i can be there for hours learning new things. more knowledge the better. i could lookin at youtube, screw and choppin my music on the pc, i just like the computer itself LOL.

but i really dont have alot going in the real world so thats why im on the internet alot. i dont tell my "friends" that im a internet savy kind of person, i dont want them to know that im on it for hrs a day and spending fridays and weekend nights at home in a dark room and me wrapped in a blanket for comfort watching some porn.

uhh, my life sucks dosent it and the girl i like dosent want to talk to me anymore and i didnt tell her my feelings. o gawd, what a life i live. sorry going offtopic, just ranting right now.

god bless/

I'm kind of hit and miss. I'll hang out on line a lot for a month or two and then basically ignore my computers for a month, except email.

I usually go to random sites on the internet, getting bored with it though as I only post a couple of things on here at the time. Before I used to check my email all the time hoping someone had sent something to me, desperate really

Without the internet my life would be exponentially more dull, if that is even possible.

lol

ya i was just thinking you guys remember like 5 or so years ago when people first started getting the internet in their homes and it had to go though the phone lines.
lol

going online would tie up the phone lines. And it would take forever to get online, there was no streaming video or itunes or youtube or wikipeida :(. But at that rate it would take three hours for me to download a videogame trailer, that was like three minutes long, bootlegging or downloading music in bulk like we like to do a lot would have taken more than a day. What did we use the internet for then :) I remember when i was little like in the 90s and we thought email was so cool. And thats really the only thing i got online to do. it took a long time access sites. Doing my little school reports we would go intot he library and look for a book on the subject rofl XD or we look in those gaint encylcapidia books. And in a little paragraph of the basci info on fruit bats was all i could was in a small section in a one book in the school library. If i wanted to find more i would have gone to another library look through the momentious, piles and pages to find a little bit more. Ah google not only does it have more answers than all the gods goddess religions and ideologies combined but it can give them to us in .25 seconds we can search through almost all the information on one subject and find everything in almost every book ever written.
And itunes is so amazing almost every artist and song can be found and bought with 2 clicks and it's yours in a second and it's always in stock. Running out of cds or videos is no longer a problem. A song or cd can be bought an infinate number of times and it will still always be in stock. now with wi-fi and inventions like the iphone you can acess the internet whereever whenever on something that fits in one hand. I also love how the videos you can play videos of perfect qualtiy on a screen the size of a toenail. even though it's so small the quality is so good you could watching it on a tv and you couldn't tell the differnece. You know how old people talk about how they thought antenna tv was soo amazing i think these things will be what we'll be telling our kids about the internet and ipods, isn't this the most mazing thing ever!! and they be like ya whatever, and we'll be like *gasp* don't say such terrible things about our beloved internet, and ipods!! *cradles 30yr old ipod in my arms ans says softly* "don;t listen to her she just doesn't understand but i still love you*

ahh yes the internet

*begins to sing*

God bless the internet
land that i loveeee

:)

ahh the internet my love for you can only be compared with my love of evanescence
