Restlessly waiting,
hopelessly debating.
The stars above,
could they mean love?
Or could they mean hate
and begin to desecrate
that which I've anticipated,
the complicated?
Provide me with an answer,
oh ancient master
of light in the skies;
the power of cries
is on your side,
what could you guide?
my existence is simplicity,
yours, complexity.
In the fading Dark,
should we wake with a mark?
Less judgmentalism,
less racism?
How could we survive
with such a hunger to drive
those who are different
out with content?
With the stars aligning,
this could be OUR timing.
