This was going to be some kind of song years ago lol, but it was desperately in need of some touching up. So thats what I did.


Deepest End

To behold the mind from the hurricanes eye
A whirlpool… drowning… frozen inside
Between love and sorrow, in the deepest end I go
To fill the chalice of the heart with the purest water flow

Down here the pressure is more then I can bear
Down where the light can’t reach, I am caught within the snare
I shine when its darkest, but the sharks are closing in
Finally… the treasure, but my escape is looking grim

Don’t leave me in the frozen depths of an icy despair
I walked off your plank, I just need a little air
Love… is an anchor, whose ship I will adore
Send it down for me and the treasure will be yours
