Oh morning moon, why must you mock me?
It's well past your bedtime,
Defiantly facing the risen morning sun
casting your pallid glow
illuminating, your light penetrating deep within my soul
reaching toward that deep dark dank abyss
what evil does reside inside that cavern?
Something so fearsome hiding there in the darkest recesses of gloom
No mortal man ever would dare enter in
When'er occassion any happened to wander near
Soon they fled, screaming, minds lost to eerie imagined horrors
There is but one so brave, so daring
No suitor, instead a Boy named Flay
Ventured forth without fear
His bark echoing through the empty chambers
filling the desolate grotto of my heart.
