In this end, in spite –or because– of everything, I should thank you…
Either for being my beautiful, shining and beloved illusion
The one that has kept me dreaming, hoping, hurting, looking, working
Existing… human, so far
The one that led me through the other illusion of time and place and circumstance
Or for destroying it
And thus enabling me to realize clearer impermanence, transformation, relativity
The veritable light in the dark
And to find me even deeper within
You are gone, and I am still alive
That is the ever truth
I will always be alive and you are here

Realist poetry... But as Soph said, there is a poignance to it that somehow softens it.... I liked it.
