A haunting kiss of wind
A hint of children's laughter
To swell the heart within
From the bottom of the void
To the top of heavens above
I'll search forever, day and night
To find what no one's heard of
Like the robin in its nest
Or the hare within its den
The cunning fox, slinking by
Standing hair on end
That which gives us goosebumps
As the witching hour nears
Slimy things that roam our thoughts
Fuel to feed our fears
Or the mockingbird that sings
Anthems of eternal bliss
Oblivious to all our pain
Unawares of what's amiss
These hidden earthly gems
Are worth a kingly ransom
I'll hunt them down, attain their secrets
Seeking boundless wisdom...
