Short poem

[Irishdoll]

This sadness that I feel,
sending a sigh across eternity.
I long for the grey,
my sky of happiness.
Waiting for a change,
for something that doesn't come.

This heart of glass,
hiding deep within.
Holding it close,
and keeping it safe.
Prisoner in my shell,
yet, no bars to hold me.
