Oh, I suddenly remembered the craziest thing I forgot about. I was thawing out some chicken for dinner, and just set it on a pan in the oven. Weeks passed, and I kept smelling something, but had no clue what it was, or where it was coming from. I never used my oven, so I didn't even look there. Neighbors and I were starting to talk about calling the police, thinking there was a dead body stuffed in a wall or something. Enough time passed that the smell faded. One day, I wanted to bake something... and there it was. My gosh, I felt stupid. Never did tell my neighbors.
