I agree with everyone who said that your actions are not creepy at all.

I had a similar case with an ex. Before we went on our separate ways I told her that next guy she meets, she'll marry him and have kids. It happened a year ago or so. We had to stop communicating, because her new (now husband) boyfriend didn't like it. I'm just glad things panned out the way she wanted and she's happy with that dude.
... and yeah, I saw the wedding, kids, celebrations through Facebook and other social medias and from time to time check on her.
