This is my first post on here but I have been browsing this forum for a while now, so thought I would say hello!
I am a 46 year old guy from the south of England and have been suffering from depression for over 10 years as well as having OCD and social anxiety. I am a mass of contradictions, and it drives me nuts!
I used to be quite sociable, had loads of interests and friends, but lost them all when things took a nosedive. The only real friends I have are my dogs. I wouldn't be without them but I crave human contact so much. I haven't managed a long lasting relationship for years, sure I have been on dates but never seem to meet the right person. Maybe I am over sensitive, too fussy or worry too much. Recently I have started to worry about growing old all alone, it's my biggest fear right now.
