My name is Alexandra. I'm 20 (almost 21) and I live in Cape Town, South Africa.

Like so many others, I just googled the word 'lonely' and found this place. After much internal debate I decided to join, and, after reading so many great posts, I'm glad I did.

Umm...a little bit about myself...I'm a third year college student, majoring in English Lit and Film Studies. Those fields pretty much sum up my interests. I guess I find it hard to socialise with people because, for the most part, I enjoy being alone, so I'm not into the whole 'party scene' which, if I may generalise, makes it quite hard to socialise with people in my age group.

I'd love to find people who share my interests or who I could just talk to. Wow, sharing it weird...anyway, I hope to find a few friends here.
