New To Forum...NOT New To Loneliness...

Hi Gang,

I found you guys by typing "I'm lonely" in a search engine...I am in a relationship...almost a year and a half, but gosh, I've never felt so alone! I'm very close to ending things. It's tough though...would love to talk about it as I have nobody I can trust who is close to me. Ironic...people "close" to me I can't trust...I guess they really aren't close are they? I'm off to read about you guys!

It's very possible to feel lonely when around other people, especially if they are not emotionally safe to open up around. I hope ALL can be your safe place that you can go to, to unload, although I do advise that you seek out these connections in real life. For me, I've found that nothing replaces a physical hug and the nonjudgmental presence of another human being.
