I think CAS was just trying to be polite in the PMs. So, that in and of itself wasn't negative.

It might've been wrong of him to create a thread about it though because if I didn't know him and he PMed me, and i chose not to PM him back, then he made a thread about it it'd make me feel weird.

Like he's the sort of person to get angry with me if I choose not to be his friend. Which would make me want to back off further.

*shrug*

Hopefully he can take something positive out of the thread now that it's been made though.
