It's too much for me to handle, I will let the darkness consume me.

I'm pretty sure I'm not bipolar -- just depressed with some things I do bringing the mood up, and without those thigns I bring the mood down. My overall problem is being depressed. Ugh, can someone delete this useless thread I made?

It's too much for me to handle, I will let the darkness consume me.

I'm pretty sure I'm not bipolar, but I'm also sure my opening post was too melodramatic. I'm generally a depressed person who has upswings of good moods, and I know what causes them. I also know without these triggers I fall down hard. Overall, I'd rather have something stable or to keep me...

It's too much for me to handle, I will let the darkness consume me.

Isn't bipolar disorder much more severe than general moodiness?

Medication and counseling aren't for me.

It's too much for me to handle, I will let the darkness consume me.

Every day is an emotional roller coaster. The smallest things bring me all the way up and all the way down. Right now it's the long ride down and I feel like garbage. Will I go back up -- yes, definitely. Going down is a terrible feeling and makes me want to do nothing except stare at the...

    Not feeling...

It's called suppressing your emotions because they're too much for you to handle -- I do this and it's not good. You're either going to be emotionless your entire life or one day they're going to uncontrollably burst out.

    The Evil That is Facebook

I hate Facebook and think it's a joke more than anything, and is also one of the reasons why we're much less social of a species. With that said, I'm forced to use Facebook for a variety of reasons.

    Popular but lonely?

You're lonely because maybe you feel the relationships you have with people are superficial. Get away from everyone for a week or two to see how you feel and how they react.

    I can't live like this

This won't make you feel any better, but you're not the only person in the world who feels this way. Unfortunately, it's frowned upon to openly admit problems like these, though they are quite common. You can vent about it on these forums, but beyond that you're pretty much stuck living in a...

So who is from the New Jersey/New York area?

I'm from Jersey, very closer to NYC though. Where are the rest of y'all hiding? We must band together and form an unstoppable army!

Going to meet someone from a dating, any advice?

UPDATE: It seemed like there was some miscommunication issues, and I'm going to meet this lady tomorrow. And yes, I'll fill everyone on the details.

Going to meet someone from a dating, any advice?

It looks like I'll have to resort to the old-fashioned way of meeting women -- walking up to an attractive woman and striking up a conversation with her.

Going to meet someone from a dating, any advice?

Bad news...I don't think her and I are going to meet. It's a **** shame, but I'm not completely upset about it. I'm surprised though, she seemed enthusiastic about meeting.

Age ratio at A Lonely Life

This. When you can socialize in the virtual world there's less of a reason to go into the real world.

I don't feel lonely like I used to, but I feel lonely in a different kind of way.

I'm not telling people it's straight-up risky, but I mean risky in that there's a chance of failure.
