I'm not a morning person. I hate mornings, in fact...I hate the smell of coffee, the crinkling of newspapers, the position of the sun in the sky, everything. But since I'm a total insomniac I didn't sleep last night, which means I've slipped into the weird/crazy world of going through a day without sleep. I've got like 12 hours to kill before I can sleep again, probably. What do people do in the mornings besides work and school??

Sit on the internet. Sad but true. If you aren't a morning person why don't you try to sleep during the day? Just wondering. Some people go for walks, get chores done, go shopping.

I like to think that it depends on what you do on the net. If you do something useful then I'd not say it's sad to do that. If you look up porn and how to build bombs then yeah, you're sad in my eyes lol. Chilling online is probably the most available thing to do. But you could do loads of stuff. Exercise? Art? Reading? Watching Films? Going out and taking Photos? Cleaning? Writing? Plenty o' things to do!

I have occasional insomnia and I can't sleep in daylight, even with the curtains drawn to make my bedroom dark. I'd love to spend days in bed sometimes, but that exacerbates the depression. I spend my days trying to keep as busy as possible. Exercise, internet (like ALL and news sites) takes up most of my mornings, cooking, reading, hobbies (knitting, sewing), writing poetry, taking photos, taking care of my dog, chores...my days revolve around being alone at home. I used to have a lot of trouble with it, I fell into the television and hours on internet trap...but I disposed of those habits last spring because they actually made me more lazy, bored and thus lonely and depressed.

Go running.
Drink coffee.
Eat doughnuts.
Take my vitamins.
Try to plan out the rest of my day.

I hate mornings too. When I get up early I try to read a book or catch on local news and blog postings. Time is time, fill the morning with whatever you love to do. Fill you're whole day with whatever you love to do. I've always been ridiculed for my sleep schedule, most people tell me that I'm wasting half my day when I sleep in. When we get down to it though I'm usually awake more than they are because I only sleep about 6-6.5 most nights.
