this is a neat resource.

it's called meetup.com.

it's for finding similar interest groups, not a dating site. I haven't been to any meet up meetings but I think it's pretty neat.

I think I posted a thread about this site a while back

I've been to a couple of political meetups. They were hosted by my parents so the people involved were naturally a bit.....out there, but they weren't murderers or anything. It was actually pretty cool.
