A note from another side of perception
Don't believe your senses deception
Eluding you to cling to reality
Watering your soul with fixed insanity
What purpose is inside us?
What lies to us and guides us?
There's no nirvana when pain allows fortune
The torture and distortion, rape and contortion
It feeds us, it shows us
We need it to focus
I can't show you the whole truth
But **** I came closest
What's Moses but a man who feared locust's
You can say there's no point to my prose but...
God **** if anything else does
So look now and forever hold your peace
Somehow If it all shut down things might be at ease
Do you see how all these things just might be made up of dreams?
And I'm not convinced we're in it for real
When reality is a felt perception and I can't feel
So everything opposed conformity
When my senses met this realm
All these dreams composed an anarchy
Far worse then you could fathom
This dream cannot be seen
If seeing could show you truth
You see only what you mean
I mean I know I've seen the root
It didn't make me complete
But it showed me somethings that I could never let sleep
I found beauty in darkeness and purpose in defeat
For what's most beautiful then something that has never been seen?
