Best moment with a woman

Talking to a woman on this bus trip from Scarborough to Whitby. We talked so much and so freely. It felt like I had met some soul mate. I regret not asking her for a coffee. She walked off rather quickly though, didn't hang around. Not sure how much it meant to her.

Taking some great photo's and having such an interesting hobby that gets me travelling.

That's me. Anybody else ?

Not sure, haven't seen any new films for a while now. Looking forward to the new Planet of the Apes but haven't seen it yet.

Music

Living vicariously through all the wonderful people around the world who were able to attend the Kate Bush: Before the Dawn tour in London, England in person - their sheer excitement and joy over the event, their photographs and endless concert details made me feel a little less bummed out that I couldn't go.

Book

Urgh...can't believe I can't think of anything. Been going through a dry spell with books, very unusual for me as I'm normally a huge bookworm - anyway, have finally started reading Revival by Stephen King and enjoying it.

Television

The Walking Dead, Vikings.

Most exciting moment

Moving away from Vancouver Island finally, and going to a town where I am happy to be living.

Best achievement

Finally taking the plunge and learning to drive at 42 years of age. :D

Best moment with a woman

Going completely out of my comfort zone, and attending a local event with a complete stranger, a fellow mum and her son - had a great time, lots of fun and I was so proud of myself for taking a chance, meeting someone new, and making a new friend.

Most fulfilling moments

Cuddles with my son right before bed, reflecting on our day...

That's me. Anybody else ?

Lady, cool! :)

I need to read the books too...

Glad people are contributing to this thread now. I just felt it was a positive idea, a way of looking on the bright side which doesn't do any harm !

Well done on the learning to drive bit !

I think this is a good idea for a thread too Triple Bogey, I always like to do some sort of review of the year.

Film

Didn't watch too many films in 2014, Captain Phillips was probably the most enjoyable of the ones I did see.

Music

My favourite song of 2014 was probably Best Day of My Life by American Authors because it brings back some great memories.

Book

Really enjoyed Michael Jordan - The Life by Roland Lazenby.

Television

Suits

Most exciting moment

Travelling overseas for the first time.

Best achievement

Developing my confidence and social skills

Best moment with a woman

Probably the first year I've ever had a few to choose from. The moment that stands out above the rest would be meeting a girl while overseas. As soon as we met, we clicked so naturally. We only had less than a week to spend together but I still have great memories of that short time. I don't think I could've been much happier being with an amazing girl while in such a beautiful part of the world.

Most fulfilling moments

Visiting one of the most beautiful places in the world. Taking 2 minutes off my previous best time in the annual 12 km run I do. Pro-actively changing my social and dating life for the better. Completing a personal training course.

Good answers !
Sounds like a pretty good year !

Film

Hmm, I think I go with 'The Grand Budapest Hotel'. Haven't watched a lot of contemporary movies - let alone some from the 21st century.

Music

'Rave Tapes' by Mogwai. That's all I can think of from 2014.

Book

None...all the books I read this year were quite old.

Television

Definitely 'The Walking Dead'.

Most exciting moment

...can't think of anything really.

Best achievement

Passing the midterm exam in my apprenticeship...even though the grades are just for self-control and don't appear anywhere else. Should go with the theoretical driving school exam instead.

Best moment with a woman

Hahaha...no. None of that kind. But in a broader sense I made three new female friends. That's as good as it gets.

Most fulfilling moment(s)

Still being alive and enduring the hardships of life. Sure I got diagnosed with another chronic disease, but it wasn't anything harmful.
