In a dark pit somewhere...
The blue of the sky has been trapped in her eyes
Her hair holds the color of the deepest of nights

Her laugh puts the sweetest of music to shame
Her smile sets the ice of my heart aflame

My hand has been molded to fit into hers
I'll make earth forget the taste of her tears

I'll try my hardest to fend off the shadows
To lessen the darkness that spreads such woe

My greatest of dreams is for hers to come true
For her sake alone there's naught I won't do

She's got it all, both the charm and the looks
So this goes to you, dear Brittany Brooks

how many poems have you written in all Naval_Fluff?

Ever considered trying to post stuff on abctales.com? I'd reccomend a poke around that site ;)

You could try submitting a few poems to a contest or two. Just for fun, or submitting a collecction of them to a few publishing firms n_n

I always enjoy reading your poetry. Keep writing :D

hmm I just might do that :) Been trying to find ways to get my poetry out and about. Thanks for reading and I'm glad you liked it :) I dunno how many poems I've written in all, probably around 50 tho I'd guess

If I were you I'd post one a week on abctales.com

That way the editor can read your poems and decide whether or not he wants to give you the weekly editor's award for them! (its called cherrypicking.)
