the port lights don't shine for me,
the harbour is dark for me.

its over the cotton and the grain,
it's over the porch steps
and the window shades,
it's over and done with,
and i can't believe you're gone.

So i'll keep my guns on the shelves
and if you're as lonely as me
let it rise over the rooftops.
