Haven't had any friends for over 10yrs

Sometimes I feel that when we go through these times, God is trying to tell us to be quiet, still, listen, and be more aware. There is a lesson in everything. I know its hard to "be learning" when you're hurting, but sometimes we need to examine ourselves in the quiet. Sometimes I see elderly people alone and I know for a fact, they could use a friend.

I am beginning to think that if we give more of ourselves, we'll think about ourselves less. I know others have realized this, but its just starting to be real for me.
