I don't trust eBay. Never have and never will. I don't care if everyone else in the world uses it on a daily basis, I will never care for it. I do, however, trust PayPal, as I have never personally had an issue with it, and I hope I never do. What 9006 said, anything with money can be scammed in some way or another. Some people just take advantage of PayPal to do so.
But, yeah, people saying about the HDD. I'd take it out too, and let whoever wants to buy it, that they need to get a 2.5 HDD. The HDD is the main reason why I'd be wary of buying used anyway, and it's the reason why I refuse to buy a used console - unless I knew the person who owned it. I bought my computer refurbished, and the HDD was the first thing that gave out on me. I was fortunate though to have gotten 3, 4 years out of it, and was even more fortunate that I could get all my junk off of it before it died for good.
