I was just wondering as this is a site for lonely people, does anyone organise any meets or social events where people in the same boat can get together?

There have been a couple, but it was pretty informal - nothing to speak of really. Likely because everyone is such a great distance apart.

Well if we all met and became friends then we would no longer be lonely and would need to leave the group.

Yeah like Eve said, it's kinda informal.. but people live so far apart. I do realise that there are a lot of active people from the UK or US here.
