The night is young and my tormentor has just begun.

My own destruction is a small price to pay for a little spice
in her life.

Such a thing is good for you my child, she says, as her devil
husband goes wild. She laughs and laughs some more as he
cuts me to the core.

Mommy I can't take it anymore, but Stevie boy has more in
store for a boy so young behind closed doors.

He takes everything but my life. Through day and night
exists eternal fright. Sometimes I wish I hadn't gotten out alive,
but still I strive to make things right.

How can I heal wounds I can't see without you here with me?
How can I truly be free with Steve's chains still binding me?
How could you have abandoned me for he who caused
catastrophe?

The truth is my real mother has gone long ago. What remains
of her is only a shadow. She was beaten down blow after blow
until all that was left is someone I do not know.

You're right Eve. I've decided to give up right now on getting her out of the situation. I'm going to approach her about psychological abuse though and explain to her everything that my stepdad has done to her, how it's effecting her, and how she can protect herself.
