Two years ago, when I was 12, I stopped seeing my psychiatrist. My parents sent me there for depression, but after a few years, it was diagnosed that I had Aspergers Syndrome. This is my Poem. Please comment. X

Psychiatrist

There is no world free from confusion
Each truth is balanced with illusion
This time is new and dark and strange
It keeps on haunting me

The lies they speak are laced with steel
They see emotions I do not feel
They cannot unveil the main source of my pain
That keeps on chasing me

Those things that go bump in the night
That flee in fear when faced with light
They cavort and romp in fading dusk
Forever following me

And now the "doctors" have called it a day
The monsters have since died away
They were the monsters in my mind,
They were the fear of me

Fantasic poem! It's extreme well written. I'm very sorry about you diagnosis, though. Keep up the poetry!

Well done RedheadOrDead.

Welcome to the forums, and I hope you keep writing more poetry. Especially starting at such an early age you seem to have a nice way of expressing your thoughts and ideas that way. Good luck with everything and take care.
