This guy is a literal genius. I am always blown away by the things he's done in Genesis, and in his solo career.
He just released his 23rd studio album (outside of Genesis, GTR, Quiet World, and Squackett), and it's a 2 cd "redone" album of all Genesis cover songs. Some are even better than the originals. The Supper's Ready version on there, for instance, is mindblowingly good. Another favorite is Can-Utility and The Coastliners, which has Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree fame on it.
I also really enjoy the songs he writes himself. I can't really pick a favorite album, they are all so good, but Please Don't Touch and Spectral Mornings are up there highly. And when you look at how many live albums he's released...man. 12 live albums, all of really great quality.
I wish I had gone to Cleveland when he was touring last year. My grandma was sick, though, so it would have been impossible.
