This is one I'm actuall proud of. Most of my poetry focuses on pain and hatred, os to write one that's a bit happier is a big deal for me.

Relief
No longer burdened by years past
Hope
A shimmering ray to firmly grasp
Peace
Chaos turns to calm, anger into love
Future
Reality now are the things you've dreamed of
Forgiveness
The slate is wiped clean, tresspasses paid for
Acceptance
No longer shunned by those you adore
Cleansed
Hurtful words fade, washed away by light
Heaven
Protected by angels, safe from the night

Thanks! I've come so far with poetry..I read my first poem ever and cringe, wondering how my own fingers could create such a horrid thing
